Yearly dues of $40., paid voluntarily and always greatly appreciated, provide the following amenities to our residents:
- Spring and Fall block parties
- July Fourth and Halloween parties
- At-Home events
- the annual Spring meeting, open to the entire community
- printing and distributing the Brookdale Bugle newsletters 3-4 times a year
- publishing/printing the neighborhood directory
- maintaining the Brookdale website and listserv
- maintenance of the Brookdale signs at several entrances to the neighborhood
- representation on matters of community interest (e.g., developer relations, parking regulations, zoning, and local government planning issues)
- liaison communications with GEICO
